Description

TheWeb UI Graphic Designeris responsible for implementing strategic design and user interface direction of the TTI brand online. The Web UI Graphic Designer will enhance the “usability” of TTI’s websites by creating and policing coding standards and best practices for user interface, site organization, navigation, color palette, fonts, page layout, and graphical elements. Propose design improvements to existing online materials and websites to make them more effective sales and marketing vehicles. This position will evaluate, conceptualize and recommend new applications and interface improvements to create dynamic looking Web pages that drive visitors to take action on the sites.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent related work experience required. Two to five years of related experience in positions focused on user interface-centered responsibility, graphic design, Web publishing at a senior level with portfolio of printed or electronic samples demonstrating experience is required.
Two years related experience in Web/interactive design with advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and DHTML. Experience hand-coding HTML code for website development is a requirement. Dreamweaver experience is a plus. FLASH experience a plus.
Manage workload and deadlines on multiple, simultaneous projects while working closely with Web developers and management. Coordinate with ad agency when necessary to create, design, and execute online campaigns.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
•Skilled and proficient in using an enterprise Content Management System for website page building and maintenance.
• Understanding of successful Web design functionality and user interface usability principles to design and implement Web applications and content.
• Understanding of websites in a database driven content environment and how it relates to Web site production methods.
• Knowledge of Web based display issues, such as dithering, Web safe color palettes, resolution, file size, and file formats.
• HTML, DHTML, or XHTML literate with strong XML and CSS skills.
• Adept in Adobe Creative Suite, including Dreamweaver and Photoshop.
• Proficient using both Macintosh OS X and Windows-based computers.
• Ability to coordinate and work on multiple projects over a short and long timelines.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadline deliverables.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact in a technical capacity with internal and external customers.
• Requires an individual with a strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, flexibility and aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly effective teamwork/interpersonal skills with wide target audiences.
