Description
The Warehouse Operator I is accountable for performing key job responsibilities within an assigned job function/area (e.g. Consol, Receiving, Order Processing, Shipping,) while meeting company expectations in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, attendance and attitude/teamwork. Position is also accountable for cross training, as required, in other areas outside of primary job function.
Hours are 12:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Pay is $9.90 per hour and includes a shift premium. Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; prior warehouse experience is preferred. Other requirements include:
· Demonstrate a positive attitude and team work orientation. · Detail oriented with strong quality and productivity orientation. · Dependable, flexible and focused orientation. · Good communication skills including ability to read and understand simple instructions. · Ability to count accurately and perform simple math. · Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization. · Personal computer experience preferred. · Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 lbs. · Ability to stoop and bend. · Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. · Ability to climb ladders. · Arrives on time to work scheduled hours and complete assigned tasks · May require an in-house forklift and pallet jack license
