Specific Job Description Coordinates training and development programs and initiatives in support of customer needs and organizational goals. Assist in the planning, executing and tracking of technical and professional programs. Assist in the creation and management of courses and their integration into the Corporate Learning Management System (LMS). This includes hands-on development of curriculum, providing technical guidance to course content owners and delivering technical training in Electrical Assembly and Manufacturing Skills. Position will identify opportunities to share curriculum and resources within the organization. Prepares lesson plans, class materials and course control documentation as well as delivers technical training as required. Will monitor and forecast training needs, based on learning plan requirements as needed.

A key focus area will be working with Manufacturing Skills/Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) Training in support of Production Operations. This will require providing both knowledge and performance based instruction in Hand Soldering, Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Acceptance of Printed Circuit Boards, Harness and Cable Assemblies, Torque Tools, Safety Wiring and Cotter Keys and other courses as required to meet production and program needs. Focus will also require working with Technical Training in support of Technical Operations to identify training development needs and resources to support those needs. This position has daily interface with employees, managers and co-workers and will require good problem solving and communication skills. This is a team environment with both local and virtual teaming responsibilities.
Standard Job Description Plans, develops, and implements technical product training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel. Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules. Obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions, product demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. May administer tests. Continuously revises lesson plans to ensure course material reflect product features, meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date. May include military trainers.

Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
