We are seeking a Security Engineer for our Data Center Services in Dallas, TX location.
The Security Engineer - is responsible for directly supporting new and existing customers in providing technical support in System Administration of Tools and Automation.
* Installs, tests, tunes, maintains, automate, designs and documents supporting systems, utility programs, monitoring tools, etc. * Maintain and improve monitoring agent deployment, configuration thresholds, and licensing tracking and administration across all platforms for all customers. * Provide preventive maintenance. * Evaluate and maintain hardware/software management and monitoring tools which will meet both the immediate and future needs of the customer. * Maintain required compliance reports and scheduled delivery. * Participates in ensuring that customer requests via ticketing systems are managed to closure. * Support information technology, systems, and policies for Tools and Automation in support of business vide Level 3 support as needed.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. * 8 or more years of work experience in IT. * Minimum 5 years System Administration and Automation experience on a specified operating systems in a 24/7 production environment. * Working knowledge of Enterprise Management Tools. * Some knowledge of SQL. * Some understanding of malware and product knowledge of at least one anti-malware solution. * Advance knowledge of Windows Active Directory. * 2-3 years of scripting experience with multiple languages (required). * 2-3 years experience with Bluecoat WebFilter to include administration and implementation. * 2-3 years experience with Envision centralized logging to include administration and implementation.
