Product Manager
Communication with the factories on a daily basis to ensure that product development is being maintained according to timelines and to address all quality issues as they arise. Initiate first cost discussions with factories, sign cost sheets, and communicate pricing issues to designer / managers. With Designers, generate colorway art, comment sheets, review TD's (along with technical team) in Windchill; initiate new styles grid, marketing materials, and new style set up. Maintain all pricing, projects documents and communication in organized accessible manner. Assist in coordination of new instruction booklets, hang tags, packaging or other paper parts as required by new product introductions. Coordinate samples between subs, brand team, photo studio and sales support requests. Participate in executing competitor analysis to provide department wide report. Assist in analyzing sales and report at design kick off; react quickly to market needs based on sales results; constant analysis of prices and margins. Participate in weekly meetings with design team to discuss lifestyle trends, new product and platform concepts, and communicate information from upper management. Assist DDM in preparing presentations at key meetings (such as licensor approval meetings, market week) to ensure brand strategy is communicated. Travel as needed for project approvals. Collaborate closely with internal departments (prototype, technical, and design teams). Participate and support special projects from FIT and Dallas teams.
