If you’re a recent or upcoming new graduate of a Chemical or Process Engineering program and are passionate about your field, we’d like to hear from you. Our Midlothian (Dallas), Texas plant is in search of an energetic and dynamic professional to join our team as a Process Engineer.
Position Responsibilities (key duties, scope of position, goals, expectations, skill requirements, travel requirements)
Provide comprehensive technical expertise to ensure the safety of processes, standard operating procedures, improved housekeeping, environmental compliance, and high standards of sustainable environmental performance throughout the plant.
Systematically analyze and provide recommendations to improve performance of process system or equipment (KPI’s, OEE, Electric Energy, PPK, etc.)
Active participation in equipment OEE improvements by providing process technical assistance.
Analyze cement manufacturing process and develop methods or processes to reduce costs and increase productivity
Design and develop new systems/equipment and modifications of existing systems/equipment
Actively provide assistance and technical direction to the control room operators and shift supervisors.
Close cooperation with lab for quality targets setting and implementation of potential changes in operations to achieve them
Perform technical evaluations as needed to help ensure the success of equipment installations and modifications
Perform technical, economic and operational feasibility analysis on proposed modifications, additions, and changes to plant processes
Actively promote the exchange of process experience (best practices) within Holcim
Availability to work flexible hours

Bachelor's degree; Process, Chemical or Mechanical engineering degree is preferred

Other Related Experiences Required or Preferred
Experience in SAP preferred
Statistical Process Control understanding required
Experience with Six Sigma concepts and methods preferred
