Under the supervision of the Cardiology Program Director, and the Medical Director the Physician Assistant or Cardiac NP will provide holistic, individualized patient care in response to identified need. Additional functions will be performed in accordance with the Physician Assistant Scope of Practice in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization. * They will be maintaining the Cardiac patients in PCU,ICU, CV ICU,Cath Lab ,Chest Pain

Records pertinent patient data in progress notes 12. Assists in surgery 13. Provides patient/family education 14. Prescribes prescriptions for patients under prescriptive authority 15. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Education and Training Experience Required Graduate from an accredited PA program Knowledge of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques and issues. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations Ability to perform medical examinations using standard medical procedures Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to provide quality, compassionate patient care. MUST HAVE 1-2 YRS EXPERIENCE AS A PA or NP WITH CARDIAC EXPERIENCE.
