11/16/11 Job Details: Summary: Physical therapist evaluates and provides direct service for outpatients for the following: burns/wound management and musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, neurological, respiratory, developmental and pain disorders. This includes patient and caregiver education and consultation to other professionals, clinics and agencies, both within Cook Childrens Health Care Network and within the community. Documentation of these services is according to department policy. Qualifications: Masters Degree or higher. Prefer minimum of 2 years experience of Sports Medicine Physical Therapy. Prefer APTA Sports Medicine Certified Specialist and /or Athletic Trainer -Certified. Pediatric experience. Flexible hours/shifts to accommodate before and after school hours. CPR certification. State license for physical therapy or licensure eligible.
