You will be responsible for development, maintenance, and testing new and existing home office custom Oracle applications. You will also be responsible for creating ad hoc reports and maintaining (enhances and repairs) existing reports and applications. Also, you will be responsible for limited technical design of those applications. You will provide both functional and technical support for custom financial and operational reports and applications. We are seeking a resource that has the ability to meet deadlines for developing and testing reports and programs while maintaining a high quality standard. The developer must also balance the needs of the company to deliver more than one report or application at a time. You will be working with highly complex programming, design, analysis, research, enhancements, process flow and corrective action. You will provide a high degree of support to the user community both foreign and domestic. You will thoroughly tests all reports and or programs prior to release to production. Also, you will write and implement bug fixes, data repair and upgrades, ensuring not to affect schedules, procedures or training. You will create new systems and applications as necessary when requested by the users, and monitor and take appropriate action to maintain integrity of the system databases including security and privacy issues. You will have the ability to evaluate and research database problems/issues. Also, you will work with outside companies to interface external data into system as necessary.

Requirements:
-Minimum 4 years of experience with Oracle Developer 2000 developing custom applications
-Experience with Oracle Form Builder and Oracle Reports Builder version 6i and 10/11g
-Experience creating, maintaining and debugging stored procedures and packages
-Programming experience on projects through all stages of system development life cycle (requirements definition through implementation)
-Experience with the following languages: UNIX Korn Shell Scripting, SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, and SQL*Loader
-Minimum 4 years of experience in a Unix (AIX) environment
-Must have Microsoft office suite skills
-Experience with large-scale financial and operations system applications and installations including reconciliation, testing and recovery strategies, security tactics, and performance monitoring/optimization tactics
-Experience with Java, XML, HTML, is a plus
-Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and user support experience
-Strong leadership, high energy, enthusiasm, initiative and entrepreneurship
-Solid written and verbal communication, time-management skills, and proven ability to work well with others
-Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and ability to prioritize tasks
-Ability to create ad hoc reports and/or accurately answer questions from various departments throughout the Company (i.e. reports, payroll, audit, etc.)
Optional Skills:
-Experience with OBIEE is a plus.
-Experience with report developers other than Oracle reports designer is a plus.
-RDBMS: 8i/9i with 10g/11g desirable.
