Description:
The Mechanical Engineer provides design, integration, and analysis for simulated aircraft LRUs and structures. Responsibilities include the design of simulated aircraft LRU?s and structure utilizing military and commercial design standards, customer specifications and system requirements documents utilizing 3D modeling and Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools. Additionally mechanical engineers provide liaison to production and manufacturing for interpretation of engineering design/drawings. Must be able to conduct engineering drawing preparation and interpretation. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Knowledge of mechanical design principles for aircraft structures and components a plus. Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be proficient in Solid Edge, MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Must be able to travel, work overtime, and weekends as required.
