We need an experience IT professional for a Manager of IT position. Initially you will manage process and outsourced infrastructure vendor, but one of you early initiatives will be to assess and possibly bring inhouse the server/desktop support. You will be working for a core values driven company in Addison.
The Manager, Information Technology is a part of the Operations Department and will report to the Chief Operations Officer. This position will oversee the administration and maintenance of the Company's IT infrastructure by planning, organizing and evaluating IT operations and processes Company-wide.
Functional Description: * Provide day to day support for IT infrastructure in Dallas * Manage IT support staff in another location * Provide an IT roadmap for the group to include: * Common hardware platform across sites - desktops, laptops, servers, etc * Common software platform across sites - operating systems, daily business software, etc * System capacity * Security - policy and testing * Assess and resolve document management needs * Replace ERP systems with a common, scalable platform * Ensure the preferred ERP system has appropriate MRP functionality * Resource management and scheduling * Manage external contractors * Define external support needs * Assess potential vendors including the existing IT provider * Appoint and manage * Manage annual IT infrastructure budget
