Desired skills Proficient with JACK human simulation system modeling. Experience supporting MANPRINT User Juries, Demonstrations, Assessments and Testing. Experience supporting Government conducted tests and providing HFE and MANPRINT analysis of test incidents. Any knowledge of System or Product Safety Engineering and Environmental Assurance is considered a strong plus. Demonstrated sustained high performance.
Specific Job Description Performs all Human Factors Engineering (HFE) and Manpower and Personnel Integration (MANPRINT) tasks and assigned Product Support tasks during the technology development, prototype and development phases of the program to ensure HFE and MANPRINT requirements are achieved in the design. Includes HFE and MANPRINT support to Engineering staff for requirement definition and allocation, detailed design guidance, system integration, and requirement verification. Responsible for conducting HFE and MANPRINT analysis and allocations demonstrating that the requirements as stated in the Statement of Work and specification are clearly understood, establish a process to satisfy the requirements, and provide progressive assurance that the requirements will be satisfied. Provides HFE and MANPRINT analysis data to customers, design engineers and program management. Develops MANPRINT program for the program (including human factors engineering, manpower, personnel, training, health hazards, safety and Soldier survivability) in accordance with AR 602-2. Develops, delivers and updates HFE analysis and MANPRINT. Issues Database to identify any critical and major issues and mitigation plans to the customer to demonstrate that the HFE and MANPRINT requirements (hardware and software) are being met. Flow down of the HFE and MANPRINT requirements to suppliers and audit/review of the supplier's analysis is also required. Verifies system requirement achievement with predictions and analyses. Plans, hosts and supports MANPRINT events to validate the system's Soldier centric design and provide inputs to assessments and reports of these events. Conducts design analysis to verify that Soldier performance and work-load requirements are within the capabilities and allocated crew size and Mission Profile. Will work closely with Maintainability, Test and Design engineering. Creates, updates and maintains a HFE Analysis, MANPRINT Database, and Crew Performance and Workload Report.

Candidate will spend majority of time working in a team environment, providing inputs to engineers, performing analyses, and writing reports. There may be some travel.

Candidate must be able to meet the requirements for obtaining a secret clearance.
