Engineering Technician III
Title: Engineering Technician III Location: USA-Texas-Arlington Other Locations: Duties
Individual will be assigned as a quality inspector to perform inspection of parts and assemblies at any point in the product life cycle (receiving through final trainer acceptance). Inspections will involve the verification of physical and/or functional characteristics of electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical parts and assemblies. Individual will (and must be able to):
* Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. * Operate inspection and measuring instrumentation/equipment. * Document inspection and test results in prescribed data format. * Perform ESD bench, crimper, and other small tool certifications.
Requirements
Qualified candidate must have a fundamental understanding of the quality function and its processes. At least five years working experience as a quality inspector or other comparable technical job. Individual must be detailed oriented and possess good communication skills. Other desired qualifications include:
* Associate's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent technical schooling. * Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100. * Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications. * Identify engineering changes. Use of Clear Quest, TipQA, Clear Case, or comparable applications is desired * Received training or has working experience with requirements of IPC-A-610.
