Job Summary The Director, Hotel Search Engine Optimization will create, promote and manage the delivery of Natural and Local Search activities to benefit the delivery of eCommerce Services to Hilton Worldwide hotels; including but not limited to on- and off- page SEO, meta content, link building, directory and local listings, leveraging social media for link building and the identification of new opportunities to improve natural rank, traffic and website conversion.
The Search Engine Optimization Director is responsible for increasing natural and local search engine revenue, growing hotel in-market awareness and enhancing the overall website experience of Hilton Worldwide hotels to improve conversion from search engines. In addition, the Director will be responsible for growing the relationship with key internal and external partners (i.e. Google, Yahoo) and spreading knowledge of current SEO trends to team members to ensure our SEO efforts lead the hospitality industry.
The Search Engine Optimization Director will be responsible for creating, developing and managing a team of SEO managers and analysts in the day-to-day, proactive identification of SEO needs and developing solutions to fulfill those needs.
The Director will partner with Hotel Content, Web Development, Demand Generation, Customer Marketing, and Brands to drive recommendations for site architecture, navigation, and creative to drive improvements in website SEO. Basic Qualifications . Four (4) year college degree . Seven (7) or more years of prior experience . Four (4) or more years of Website/ Search Engine Optimization experience with demonstrated success . Three (3) or more years previous management experience . Two (2) or more years of experience analyzing data and presenting the findings to internal and/or external customers . Two (2) or more years experience maintaining internal or external customer relationships and satisfaction . A minimum of one (1) year successful professional experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook . Ability to travel as required Preferred Qualifications . Advanced degree .
