Credit Analyst (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)

The Credit Analyst coordinates and processes documentation, invoice dispute resolution and customer payment for customer accounts. Performs account analysis and researches payment and account discrepancies and paying habits of customers who are delinquent in payment of bills and recommends action. Understanding customer's accounts payable and logistics guidelines to ensure proper procedures are followed and in order to obtain point of contact for payments and knowledge of customer's policy to work chargeback's. Communicate with customers and sales representatives to investigate complaints, verify accuracy of charges, or to correct errors in accounts.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Process new credit applications for open lines.
  • Check references, run credit reports, i.e. D&B, NACM, SICA.
  • Review existing accounts for increase or decrease of credit limits.
  • Prepares and send invoice copies and letters of collection correspondence to customers and sales representatives
  • Place collection calls relating to past due accounts.
  • Processes credits, check requests, phone payments, demand letters, turning over accounts and other requested documentation to expedite account payments.
  • Process credit card transactions.
  • Interact daily with Sales staff and related departments.


    Education and Training:

  • Functional SAP R/3 and ERP knowledge preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years related experience with Credit & Collections.
  • Associate degree or higher in Finance or a related field


    Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with MS Office products such as MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to handle heavy workload and multitask.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
