The ability to conceive, plan, and execute training concepts and conduct training courses prescribed by DoD regulations, standards and procedures. 5. Experience in task analysis and course development. Desired skills Certified instructor Specific Job Description This position is contingent upon contract award and customer approval or resume. Plans, develops, coordinates and provides a program of instruction for the Army Battle Command suite of equipment and software. An understanding of the Army Battle Command System (ABCS) is required. Primary duties include execution of the development of a Program of Instruction that results in lesson plans IAW with Army Regulations based on a detailed front-end training needs analysis. Training packages developed will address new operator, sustainment, and leader training. Primary duties include training soldiers on the Battle Command Sustainment and Support System (BCS3). May utilize and instruct trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet training requirements and keep ABCS courses abreast of emerging technology. Primary duties will include preparation of training materials, determination of methodology, and coordination in the development and use of training aids. In addition, conducts formal training for US Army personnel in all facets of staff integration and battle captain skills. This includes mentoring and conducting After Action Reviews of staff personnel at the battalion and brigade level. Is completely versed in the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP). Evaluates training materials and procedures and makes or recommends revisions to keep the course abreast of software, hardware and emerging doctrine. Maintains class records, writes, administers and scores tests for certification when required. Provides council to junior staff officers and noncommissioned officers.
