CNC Lathe Machinist
CNC Machinist is required to be capable of operating any equipment within the production areas. (CNC Lathes, Lathes, Foam Injection Machines, Drill Presses and Milling Machines) CNC Machinist is responsible to machine or create parts per work instructions and production packages to include loading / unloading parts from machine, machine operation, forklift driving, design and suggest new machining processes to reduce labor hours.
Production: Support the development and initial prototype production of new in house parts manufacturing, including the use of various machines and engineering documents. Support the transition from prototype to full production of in house parts manufacture. Run daily production as directed.
Quality: Verify all dimensions and tolerances per production package specifications using appropriate calibrated tools. Must identify non-conforming parts when found.
Housekeeping: Work area and equipment must be kept clean and free of all debris. All maintenance records on equipment must be kept current per equipment schedule.
Requirements:
Location: MUST RESIDE IN DFW AREA. RELOCATION NOT AVAILABLE.
Sponsorship: MUST BE ABLE TO SHOW PROOF OF ABILITY TO WORK IN THE USA LEGALLY. SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE.
Physical Requirements: Must be able the lift 40 pounds and stand while working for at least four hours continuously.
Qualifications: Education/ Experience: High School graduate or GED a must. Minimum 5 years experience in a machinist role. Must be familiar with CNC programming, Conversational CNC language experience preferred. Prior work experience with Mazak and Mori Seiki CNC machines a plus.
Skills: Must be able to read and write the English language. Must be able to read and understand Engineering drawings.
