About the Role:
The Business Operations Intern is expected to promote business continuity in the organization by demonstrating the benefits of the program's methodology, tools and capabilities. The individual is expected to have strong project management skills, be capable of assisting in driving projects to completion, be decisive and consistently demonstrate good business judgment. The Intern must also be capable of working independently, as well as in a cross-functional team environment.
The individual must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision, be results focused, manage their own work, and have a continuous improvement mindset and strategic perspective. Key Responsibilities: * Process development and documentation: * Assist in documenting processes and process variations between the US, EMEA, LTAM and APAC * Development of metrics support for Quote To Cash (QTC) and Source To Pay (STP) by helping gather and consolidate metrics * QTC and STP data analysis on AR, AP and Operations Support * Work with business teams to document and quantify ROI for dashboard and reporting projects * Gather and document Reporting project requirements * Coordinate with functional team to document and publish project portfolios and roadmaps * Assist with program metrics and reporting * Assist with program communications Required Experience/Skills & Education: * Build relationships at various levels and influence decisions. * Solve problems; synthesize information from disparate sources to deliver comprehensive and actionable analysis. * Resolve conflicts discrepancies positively and professionally. * Commit to the first time quality and accuracy in all work. * Manage organize time, information and resources effectively in order to meet deadlines and respond to requests on a timely basis; multi task. * Solve problems independently when appropriate. * Clearly and effectively communicate with others in written and verbal form. * Be service oriented, attentive to detail and committed to achieve customer company goals. * Work effectively independently and within a cross functional team environment. * Negotiation skills. * Hands on knowledge of Business Process Analysis, Metrics, Business Model development. * Computer skills: MS Windows, including intermediate PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
