Assistant Risk Manager - 3355

Our client is a large, multinational corporation seeking an Assistant Risk Manager for their Dallas operation.

EXCELLENT CAREER OPPORTUNITY!!!

Candidates will be responsible for essential insurance functions such as claims handling process, certificates of insurance, contract review, premium reconciliation, and working with the risk manager on insurance program evaluation and policy renewals.

Duties and Functions:

  • Gather, organize and analyze data. Maintain extensive databases
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing documents
  • Assist in review of quotes, binders and policies. Follow up with corrective documentation
  • Review premium audits for accuracy and correction
  • Allocation of premiums
  • Assist in contract review
  • Manage policy approval/transaction documentation
  • Manage Certificates of Insurance, auto ID cards, and Workers’ Compensation statutory postings.
  • Special projects as determined by management
  • Interact with servicing brokers, claims, loss control and attorneys


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate risk management or risk management department of a large retail broker
  • Must have experience with large manufacturing risks and global exposures
  • 4 year college degree
  • Insurance related professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, CRM, etc. are preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to deal with sensitive situations and confidential information
  • Ability to work on multiple priority tasks
  • Self directed, proactive, detail oriented problem solver
