Account Executive – Business Intelligence Software – Dallas, Atlanta, DC, NC

 

Enterprise Sales needed for Pre-IPO company seeing 40% growth annually, This company is expanding into the eBusiness/eCommerce space.


Geography covered: TX, GA, DC, NC
Base City:  Dallas, Atlanta, DC, NC
Relocation: no

Base Salary: 110 - 120k
Total Comp: 295k
Auto Allowance: yes
Travel: 50%

 

Our client wants to see top candidates form the following Target Companies: Hyperion, Cognos, BO, SAP, Oracle, Terradata, Paracell, Netezza, IBM.  Any traditional BI player or even Search i.e. Google, Fast/Microsoft etc.   If you have verifiable success against quota/expectations, a great track record/tenure and applicable domain experience we would like to hear from you.  IF NOT PLEASE DO NOT APPLY AS YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Responsibilities:

 

Account Manager will be fully-responsible for several key accounts within a given territory; coordinate all efforts necessary to identify, acquire and further penetrate existing accounts; protect and grow assigned revenue stream; cultivate solid account relationships and drive customer satisfaction; place high emphasis on growth through new account acquisition; attend, as well as contribute to, internal and customer training so as to continuously improve the knowledge and level of service required by customers; work directly with key customers to identify additional sales opportunities and then work directly with new product develop team to bring these new ideas to fruition. 

Qualifications:

*    Bachelor's degree; engineering or technology; MBA a plus

*    5-7 years work experience in business/technology related fields.

*    Prior direct sales and/or business development experience of 3-5 years

*    Demonstrated successful experience in direct sales.

*    Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

*    Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.

*    Proficient computer skills using customer relationship management (CRM) software as well as Microsoft Office.
