Title: (DCGS) Oracle Database Analyst/Software Engineer 4B Location: USA-Texas-Greenville Other Locations: L-3 Integrated Systems is seeking an Oracle Database Analyst. The Candidate must be able to analyze and understand Business/Functional requirements in order to design, model, develop, validate, and implement logical and physical data models including relational and dimensional models in a Data warehouse Enterprise environment. The candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience as a physical and logical dba/analyst.
Essential Requirements: * Demonstrated Oracle 11g Database Administration experience in the LINUX environment * Experience tuning Oracle 11G Databases and queries * Experience providing Database Administration of an Oracle Enterprise Database * Solid understanding of Data warehouse principles and methodology including design, dimensional data models, data dictionaries, and Meta data * Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear concise fashion; verbally and in writing * Work cooperatively with internal team members, external project customers, infrastructure architects, and system/security administrators * Must be able to develop and maintain database and design documentation * Understand the logical and conceptual relationship of data and the needs of a complex application * Familiarity with Database DISA security concepts * Familiarity with PL/SQL, SQL, JAVA and XML * Experience with terabyte databases in a Database Grid environment * Strong hands-on experience using data modeling tools, preferably Oracle Designer and ERwin * Strongly proficient with SQL queries * Strongly Enterprise Database tunings concepts for SQL, Data Modeling and Physical Modeling * Familiarity with OEM Grid tools and RAC Physical models * Being able to obtain an DOD clearance * Bachelors Degree with 9-13 years of relevant experience required We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
